How Verdix Works
From first idea to production-ready — with full accountability at every stage.
Most AI governance processes are informal by design. Verdix replaces them with a structured, evidence-backed lifecycle that every stakeholder can see, every auditor can review, and every regulator can verify.
Verdix implements a four-stage pre-production AI governance lifecycle — Capture, Evaluate, Decide, Deliver — with federated council voting across five constituencies, a twelve-category evidence vault, algorithmic scenario probing across hundreds of risk scenarios, and progressive financial modelling from qualitative scores to full NPV analysis.
The Governance Lifecycle
Four stages. No shortcuts. No black boxes.
Capture
An AI idea is submitted in plain language. Verdix structures it automatically — extracting initiative type, business domain, affected stakeholders, and preliminary risk classification. Felix, the AI governance advisor, guides the submitter through structured intake and asks about AI tools already in informal use.
Evaluate
Every initiative is assessed on four dimensions: strategic value, delivery feasibility, organisational readiness, and risk profile. A financial business case builds progressively — from a 1–10 qualitative score to full CapEx, OpEx, ROI, NPV, and payback analysis. Algorithmic scenario probing models the initiative across hundreds of delivery scenarios, producing a probability-weighted view of adoption risk before any commitment is made.
Decide
Five independent governance constituencies review the evaluated initiative and vote with documented rationale. Quorum rules, SLAs, and deadlock resolution are built in. Conditional approvals, remediation blockers, and evidence sufficiency gates prevent initiatives from progressing without genuine readiness. Every vote, every condition, every decision is logged with full audit trail.
Deliver
Approved initiatives move into controlled delivery with ongoing oversight, KPI tracking against the approved business case, and periodic revalidation. When an initiative is certified production-ready, Verdix generates an AI Asset Package — the structured handover document for post-production platforms including ServiceNow AI Control Tower.
Governance Architecture
Five constituencies. Parallel review. Decisions in weeks, not quarters.
Verdix implements a federated governance model designed for how large organisations actually make decisions — not how frameworks say they should.
Five independent constituencies vote in parallel: Business, Technology, Risk & Compliance, Finance, and Executive. Each constituency operates with independent quorum rules and SLAs. Conditional votes, abstentions, and escalations are tracked. Deadlock resolution is built in. No initiative can be approved by a single constituency.
The result: thorough, multi-stakeholder governance that runs in weeks — not quarters of committee loops.
Parallel not sequential
All constituencies review simultaneously, not in a queue.
Documented rationale
Every vote includes structured reasoning, not just a binary outcome.
Full audit trail
Every governance action is logged, timestamped, and exportable for regulatory review.
Evidence Management
Twelve categories. Sufficiency gates. Nothing progresses underprepared.
Every AI initiative must build a structured evidence base across twelve categories — from technical feasibility documentation and data quality assessments through to legal review, ethical impact analysis, and change management plans.
Sufficiency gates at each governance stage ensure the right evidence exists before a vote is called. Rejected evidence items carry structured feedback. Accepted evidence carries forward — it is not rebuilt at each governance boundary.
The result is a complete, structured evidence pack that doubles as regulatory documentation for EU AI Act compliance.
Know Where You Stand
The platform assesses your organisation before it assesses your initiatives.
Before scoring individual AI use cases, Verdix assesses your organisation's readiness across six dimensions: data infrastructure, technical capability, governance maturity, security posture, change readiness, and regulatory alignment.
This baseline shapes every initiative score that follows. An ambitious initiative in an immature organisation is scored differently than the same initiative in a mature one. No more context-free scoring against an abstract rubric.
Production Handover
When an initiative clears governance, it arrives at production with everything it needs.
Verdix generates a structured AI Asset Package when an initiative receives a Fund Now recommendation and full council approval. This package contains: the complete evidence vault, council decision records with full rationale, financial projections (CapEx, ROI, NPV), algorithmic scenario probing outputs and risk factor summary, regulatory framework tags, and a production-readiness certification.
For organisations using ServiceNow AI Control Tower, this package is the structured intake document that creates the AI asset in production governance with full provenance from day one.
